Celebrating My Sweet T!

Today, is a special day—Sweet T’s birthday!!!

People often ask Sweet T and I how me met. We used to tell people we met at the post office. Truth is that back in the days of wind up internet, before online dating was hip and cool, Sweet T and I met on the internet through a dating website called excite.com. She was coming off a divorce and I was working a lot. We were both careful and intentional about who we let into our lives. Anyways, I’m thankful God brought us together and that she chose to let me be part of her life.

In the nearly 20 years we’ve known each other, I’ve had a front row seat to seeing her grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. We’ve had a ton of fun throughout the years, celebrated lots of birthdays between us, and experienced all that God has had to offer us. We’ve been to the mountaintop and we’ve walked side by side through desolate valleys.

I’m grateful for her and the incredible blessing she is to me and so many others, especially through her tremendous ministry work with Operation Christmas Child.
