Morning Prayer | 8.27.2019

As the morning rain waters the city streets and we prepare to head out to face the day, let us keep our eyes focused on You, sweet Jesus. Help us be the salt and light that the people we encounter today need. Fill our countenance with joy and and our hearts with kindness.

Let us go out in love approaching others with the grace and mercy You so freely have each of us. Let us choose the high and narrow road. Help us be good image bearers as ambassadors of the Good News.

Keep us from harm and temptation so that our testimonies may endure unblemished. Help us love others as You first loved us and as we would have others love us. Let us treat others kindly and respectfully. Lavish our words with grace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
