Thankfulness is one way we can worship God. Worship means we give God all the honor, respect, glory, praise, and awe due Him. We praise God for His blessings in our lives. He has given us every spiritual blessing under the heavenly realm (Ephesians 1:3). In our gratitude, we reflect the character of God, who delights in us.
Personally, for me, I am thankful for a number of things including my beautiful bride Terri. I’m thankful we got to get away for a few days. Terri and I look forward to future getaways together. I want to love my bride well, as Christ loved His bride, the church, well.
I’m thankful for the lessons He continues to teach me, like overcoming shame. I look forward to continuing to learn. Each day, the Lord teaches me something new or reminds me of a lesson I should have already learned. I am thankful that He is a patient teacher.
I’m thankful for my recent promotion to Senior Operations Manager at OurCalling, a ministry loving and discipling the homeless in Dallas. I look forward to seeing what the Lord will do to help the least of these as He continues to use me as His vessel for the Gospel.

I am thankful for each and everyday. That God still loves me when I fail to talk with him or read my bible. I am thankful for the new mercies and grace we receive each and everyday!
