I overheard someone say they were looking for a unicorn.
“They’re hard to find,” someone else said.
I thought, Yep. Unicorns tend to hide.
Most people don’t recognize a unicorn when they see one.
I’m not sure why.
Maybe it’s because they’ve forgotten how to believe in things they can’t quite explain. We have become so accustomed to ordinary that we don’t recognize extraordinary when it walks right past us.
We’ve spent so much time looking for unicorns that we’ve forgotten to look for the people who carry a little bit of unicorn magic themselves.
You might know one. You might be one.
Keep your eyes open.
And whatever you do…
Don’t stop believing.
The rarest things aren’t hiding.
We just aren’t looking with the right kind of eyes.
