Shortly after Terri and I began attending Trinity Bible Church in Richardson, we began going down to Union Gospel Mission in downtown Dallas. Our church has partnered with UGMD for over 50 years and we continue to send a group of folks downtown the 4th Friday of every month. We sing songs, open God’s Word, and take time to pray individually with 300 plus displaced, disenfranchised men who receive shelter and food at the Mission. The reasons for homelessness are numerous. The number of homeless veterans, from several wars, is shocking. Many have found themselves displaced by devastating storms and the recent recession. Several have had troubles with the law, drugs and alcohol. Their reasons for being there are as varied as the men themselves. Our reason for going is simple: to provide them hope through the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You can learn more by visiting their website:http://ugmdallas.org/
It is awesome that you support this ministry, we have a team from the church I belong to that will be going to Fort Worth next weekend to support Beautiful Feet. so good to see people coming together to help those in need.

Thank you. I’ve heard Beautiful Feet does great work. It’s really a joy for our group to get to go. The men really bless us. Blessings!
