Another New Post About Mo’ Better Christian Blogging

Hello Reader!

What is the main problem your Christian reader is facing in a post-pandemic, 21st-century world?

What would it look like to address that problem on your blog by offering your readers insights and suggestions on solving that problem?

Christians living all around the world face numerous challenges. Many of these conundrums are fueled within the church itself.

While some denominations are wrestling with women in the pulpit, others are staving off an increasingly cultural demand to recognize and ordain practicing members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The day is coming when a congregation will be asked if a transgender person can pastor a Christian church rooted in biblical teachings.

False teaching is alive and well in the 21st century and only growing stronger as our collective biblical knowledge grows increasingly weaker.

These days, politics, immigration, gender roles, sin, confusion, and chaos are only a few things factoring together to implode the Christian mind.

What are your readers struggling with as they humbly seek to live out their Christian faith?

I think if you can identify the answer to that question then you will uncover a treasure trove of subjects to write about that will help make your blog mo’ better.

Please continue praying for my team as we serve the homeless community in Dallas. So far, we’ve been open longer nearly 6 weeks this Summer. I’m glad we’re able to offer a refuge from the extreme heat to our neighbors living life on the streets. After all, it’s about saving lives and winning souls.

Thanks for reading my blog. Feel free to leave a comment and share your thoughts.

Gratefully,

  4. 🙏 praying for you and your team… by the way, if you have never read it, I think you would like the book “Same Kind of Different As Me.” It’s a true story about the homeless in Texas. It’s been made into a movie as well.

  5. Agreed. How can we—as Christian bloggers—be a voice of reason and Truth amid a growing chasm between belief and unbelief?

  6. The more the Church bends to the will of the world, the less it looks like God’s Church….sad indeed.

  7. Thanks, Alan. This sounds like a great topic to explore further. You’re right—the rising cost of living is affecting people all around the world. As believers, what are some practical things we could do to increase awareness and support those who are increasingly finding themselves in need? Wow. This is such a great subject—Alan. Thanks for reading and sharing.

  8. Alan Kearns's avatar Alan Kearns says:

The rising costs of living are affecting many around the world; here in the UK a real issue relating to that is fuel poverty … poor and elderly folks being unable to heat their homes, particularly in the winter.
As believers we certainly need to be aware of such things, and seek a way to bring God’s love in a practical way to those in need.
