Occasionally, I find old pictures rummaging through boxes of things I’ve probably held onto for too long. They are pictures that captured a moment then that today takes on a different meaning.
You probably know that God has a plan for your life. It’s a plan He worked out long ago, before you ever even took a breath. As we grow in our faith, we learn that there are times when God asks us to do things that are extremely difficult.
God could accomplish His plans without us. However, He asks us to join Him in His work. He invites us to participate in His plans. Doing so stretches and strengthens our faith.
Oftentimes, we aren’t ready when the time comes, but God has prepared us and equipped us in advance for the work He calls us to do.
Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed. If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?”
Esther 4:13-14 (NLT)
Meditate on those moments where God asked you to participate in doing the seemingly impossible.
Chew on that today…as you think about your mission in this life. He who created you has a plan and a purpose for you.
Gratefully and graciously,
Rainer Bantau —The Devotional Guy™

What amazing timing for this post Rainer! I have been reflecting on my life past and present this morning, and my past makes sense to me now in the light of God’s Grace – what an amazing God we serve.
Thank you brother, God bless you today 🙏
