Welcome my fellow Christian blogger (or follower of Christian blogs)!
Coming out of a period when door-to-door evangelism was not really allowed due to the restrictions of the recent pandemic, digital evangelism plays a significant role in influencing the future of evangelism.
Evangelism is proclaiming the Gospel – the good news about Jesus Christ which is God’s power to save all who believe it and turn from sin to follow him.
Richard Coekin—an essay about Biblical Evangelism shared on The Gospel Coalition
Technology impacts every aspect of our lives including spreading the word of God and encouraging one another as believers and followers of Christ, our King.
This new digital age opens up fresh pathways through various platforms including blogging.
Our Verse for Reflection:
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Colossians 3:16 (ESV)
Thoughts and Reflection:
As Christian bloggers, we find ourselves standing at the crossroads of technology and faith. We carry out the Great Commission, letting the word of God reach far and wide, leveraging digital tools. This particular verse, found in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Colossians, reminds us of the heart of our mission: to let God’s word dwell richly within us and to share it with wisdom and thankfulness.
Blogging is not simply about sharing what you know; it’s about sharing what you’ve gone through. Blogging is about sharing your journey, your reflections, and what God taught you in a way that reverberates with others.
Blogging is a unique blend of communication, evangelism, and personal reflection.

As a Christian blogger, you are creating a space where others are able to join together in community so that they can learn, be admonished, guided, directed, and encouraged.
Think of your Christian blog as a modern-day epistle that spreads the Good News and teachings of Christ to a global audience.
That’s powerful.

Prayer of a Christian Blogger:
Our Heavenly Father, please guide me as I embark on the journey of sharing Your holy word through my blog. Let Your wisdom fill my heart and mind, providing me with the wherewithal to write posts that reflect Your teachings and Your love. Help me, Heavenly Father, to be a conscientious source of encouragement and inspiration to my neighbors, far and wide, fostering a community of believers who support and uplift one another in faith. God, grant me the courage to share my own experiences, the humility to learn from others, and the perseverance to continue this work, even when faced with challenges. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Amid all of this transformative change, remember God remains the same yesterday, today, and in the future. Technology affords us new ways and opportunities to tell others about our experiences along our personal spiritual journey and share the truth of God’s word throughout the Ages.
Don’t forget to tell somebody about Jesus today!
