We the People | Celebrating Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July!

As you celebrate Independence Day, remember what the idea of America is all about—“we the people.”

Every person has value. Every life matters. Every voice can be heard. We can disagree, yet still stand united.

At its best, America shines as a beacon of hope and opportunity. It’s why my parents came here. Our Founding Fathers said it best when they boldly proclaimed “We the People.”

²⁶Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

America is a promise rooted in sacrifice. It’s a hard fought for dream realized through perseverance of all who would dare call themselves Americans —because to be an American requires courage and determination.

Freedom hasn’t come as easy for some as it should. Yet, our future can be bright. “We the People” is the beginning of the story…Happy 4th!
