Leaning Into God Whispers

It’s been a challenging week for the Bantau clan. Mostly, it’s work related stress and difficult situations. I’m juggling two major projects and trying to solve one major problem while getting ready for my solo art show in August. Terri has been über stressed at work as well.

And, like many of you, we’ve been caught up with the attempted assassination of former President Trump last Sunday and the political and spiritual drama unfolding as a result of that event.

But, it’s in these moments God often gives us a wink to let us know He sees us.

Over the course of my walk with Jesus, I’ve learned God whispers to us in intriguing ways. In the last week, I’ve had one co-laborer in Christ bless me with one of their favorite songs. A few days later another coworker blessed me through gifting me a beautiful book on creativity. The deeper I delve into this “making” thing, the more I discover about the Lord. God is truly good.

What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

In the midst of chaos, it can be difficult to find peace. It’s in these moments that we need to keep our eyes on Jesus.

Listen for His whisper…
