My Monday Morning Cup | God’s Grace is Sufficient

My friend, how are you doing today?

I know that sometimes our lives can seem like they are full of struggle.

Our weaknesses are opportunities for the Lord, our God, to display His power and grace in our lives.

You don’t have to be perfect.

Truth be told, our imperfections help make room for God. Otherwise, pride would quickly get in the way.

Remember: It’s not about us. It’s ALL about Him.

God shines the brightest in the moments of our greatest difficulties.

If I wanted to boast, I would be no fool in doing so, because I would be telling the truth. But I won’t do it, because I don’t want anyone to give me credit beyond what they can see in my life or hear in my message, even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God. So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and keep me from becoming proud.

Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 Corinthians 12:6-9 NLT

So, my friend, I don’t know what your thorn in the flesh looks like today. But, I do know that God is there, ready to walk with you. Step into your moment of fear with the confidence that God is faithful to work for the good of those He loves and calls His. That’s you—child of God—that’s you.

Know you are loved.

Please pray for our country—indeed pray for the world. We need God more than ever.

  1. Amen. It is, indeed. We must remember to focus our eyes, our, hearts, and our minds on Him. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts. It’s very encouraging.
