Sunday Thoughts | Blessed

While I was driving around my old hometown of Marshall, Texas the Spirit spoke to my heart by saying, “You are blessed.” I thought to myself, “Yes, I am blessed!”

Friend, I don’t know what you’re going through today but let me encourage you by telling you, “You are blessed.”

Gratitude is such a game-changer.

⁵ You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
⁶ Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

Psalm 23:5-6 ESV

What if you were to sit down with a pen and piece of paper and make a list of things that you have to be grateful for?

I wonder what you’d write down first?

I am grateful because I am truly blessed.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.

Psalm 136:1 NIV
