In recent months, I’ve heard more and more about the Rapture and the End Times. Many well-meaning, faithful saints are convinced that the Second Coming is imminent. To which I say, only the Lord knows. God doesn’t quantify soon in the same sense that we do. Imminent may be right around the corner but it could be a long turn. Truth is, you and I don’t know, no matter how much it may look and feel like the end is near, when Jesus is returning or when the Rapture is taking place.
I believe it’s helpful to remember Paul’s words to the Thessalonians. He offers us profound encouragement and wisdom for daily living in these tumultuous times.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV
Paul reminds us of the importance of joy, prayer, and gratitude in our lives. Even in the midst of challenges or struggles, we are called to find reasons to rejoice and to maintain a spirit of thankfulness. This attitude reflects our trust in God and His plans for us.
Perhaps you are navigating a tough season. If so, please let these verses serve as a trustworthy balm to soothe your soul. You and I can always find joy if we keep the lines of communication open with God through prayer and practice gratitude for the blessings He has bestowed on us.

How can I pray for you today?
Until my next post…
Be salty, stay lit.
