Today marks day 100 of posting at least once a day. It’s been fun and it’s been work. It’s definitely been challenging starting this new routine and getting into my daily blogging rhythm.

Looking back, here are a few things this streak has taught me:
- Showing up matters more than perfection. Not every post is perfect, but showing up every day has made all the difference.
- Commitment breeds confidence. By honoring my personal commitment to posting daily helped me to trust my voice and ideas.
- Small steps lead to big growth. While 100 days might seem daunting, it’s really 100 small steps adding up to yield a great result.
- Creativity thrives under discipline. Some days, the pressure sparked unexpected inspiration. I was surprised what type of topics the Holy Spirit brought to mind.
- Persistence shapes character. Sticking to this streak reminded me that discipline isn’t just about work. It’s about being someone who finishes what they start.
100 days in, I’m thankful for the lessons I’ve learned, the growth I’ve experienced, and the commitment it’s required. Here’s to continuing the journey and seeing where the next 100 days take me.

Until my next post…
Be salty, stay lit.

P.S. I didn’t know till just now that you are an artist. I viewed some of your work online. Very creative. I enjoyed seeing them. And not by coincidence, so also is Anne Ruiz, whom I mentioned in the posts and comments about the disasters and relief work of SLOI. Kindred spirits? Blessings!

Thank you. Your prayers are greatly appreciated. I am likewise praying for you.
We are moving in the right direction when we are caring for “the least” of our brethren. My heart still overflows with tears everytime I pray for these precious people there who suffered so greatly.
“That they all may be one in love…”
Blessings!

Joseph—thank you for bringing this to my attention. I’m grateful for your comment, even though, as you point out, it may be a bit off topic. I will check out the organization and be praying for you and those God has laid on your heart. Blessings.

Congratulations Rainer. Good accomplishment. It takes much focus to stay on point every day while also keeping up with one’s other responsibilities. It’s harder to do it in the process of fulfilling a goal though such is also a great driver. It’s even harder as part of a ministry due to spiritual warfare, etc. I always think about how absolutely perfect the Lord had to be during His ministry on more than a day-to-day basis. Keep up the good work!

Please forgive me for intruding into your comment section, unannounced, and off-topic. But please take a moment to hear the cry that’s in my heart right now.
My name is Joe Townsend, and I served as a missionary in the Philippines for more than 13 years.
My blog-site is hisheartmyhome.net which I believe you may have visited before.
I am writing to request your prayers and help in gathering support for relief efforts in the central part of Philippines, known as the Visayas. The people living there have been brutally battered by a series of horrific natural disasters since September 30.
Please check out my posts, published on 11/10 and 11/15. They will give you a small window into these calamitous events.
The pictures of death and devastation are heart-breaking. Please don’t hide from them. Strong earthquakes were followed by torrential rains, back-to-back typhoons, and flash floods. Tsunamis of mud and debris slid down the mountains, destroying homes, businesses, hospitals, and schools, wiping out entire villages, and entombing hundreds.
I was surprised at how little media coverage these multi-layered calamities received outside the Philippines. So I determined that I would at least use my small blog-site to raise awareness of the crisis and facilitate support. There is a staggering amount of relief work and rebuilding that lies ahead. Time is of the essence.
May I ask you to please do this:
● Pray, pray, pray for the Filipino people. There is a prayer the Lord gave me which I put on the site, entitled, “A Filipino’s Prayer for the Philippines.” Please pray as Holy Spirit leads you.
● Amplify awareness of the need across your social media platforms, and ask others to do the same.
Please consider reblogging the posts that are on my site, or write and publish your own. Awareness of the need is critically important to a timely and effective relief response.
● Please help promote the great work of Student Life Organization, Incorporated and give generously to their ministry.
SLOI is based in Cebu, the area hit hardest by the disasters. For just $13.60 USD they can provide water and food for a family of five for three days, or a family of three for five days.
SLOI is a registered non-profit organization, founded by Ian Rustia, and Anne Ruiz. Their contact information can be found on their site.
I am more than happy to vouch for their pristine integrity and faithful stewardship, and I whole-heartedly endorse their ministry.
You can learn more about SLOI, and hopefully partner with them through these links:

Thank you for networking with us to show the compassion of Christ to the precious Filipino people!
May the Lord bless you and keep you; make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face toward you, and give you peace! In Jesus’ name! Amen!

Congratulations on reaching the 100 days Rainer! I agree with you; daily blogging is a great spiritual exercise. The longer we post daily devotionals from our own spiritual walk, the more it blesses both the writer and the readers – God is a good rewarder of His servants. May He continue to guide and bless you towards your next hundred days my brother 🙏
