Wisdom is more than simply knowing the right answers. It is learning how to live rightly.
Biblical wisdom is spiritual because it begins with God. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). True wisdom recognizes that God is the source of truth, direction, and purpose.
Wisdom is also practical. It shows up in how we speak, how we treat people, how we make decisions, how we handle conflict, and how we steward the opportunities God places in front of us.
A wise person doesn’t just collect knowledge, they apply it. They listen before speaking, seek understanding before responding, and choose faithfulness over convenience.
James reminds us: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him” (James 1:5).
Wisdom is Heaven’s perspective applied to everyday life. Wisdom is meant to be lived out in our homes, our work, our relationships, and every ordinary moment He gives us.

Until my next post…
Be salty, stay lit.
