Life plays out on an unequal playing field for all of us. Could it be the only man keeping you down is you? Perhaps you find life oppressing. I get it. Some days it’s like the whole world is conspiring against you. Honestly, odds are good that it is. Living is not a pursuit well-suited for the timid. It will chew up you up and spit you out. Encouraging thoughts, I know.
Amid the yin yang of your existence, the buck stops at your door. When it comes to turning your dreams into reality, you are where the rubber meets the road. Sure it’s hard. Yes it’s challenging. And certainly, it ain’t fair. But the opportunity to transform your greatest hopes into success lies in your hands. You must be willing to show up and do the hard work. No one can do it for you.
In this life, you’re really not due anything but love and respect. That doesn’t guarantee you’ll get either. Transforming dreams into reality requires perseverance.
