Happy Easter! He Has Risen!!

Wherever you are spending this Easter Sunday celebrating the resurrection of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sweet T and I pray that you will be surrounded by God’s presence and that His favor will shine upon you. What glorious news that the God who created the whole universe has reconciled us to Him through the atoning sacrifice of His beloved Son, Jesus and that through the resurrection, death has been defeated and through placing our faith and trust in Jesus we can receive the gift of Eternal Life, walking in the presence of God forever.

  • We are separated from God because of our sin.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (Romans 3:23)
  • According to Scripture, the penalty for sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
  • Good News! Jesus Christ paid the debt of our sin by dying on the Cross.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
  • By confessing our sin to God and agreeing to repent and trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sin.
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.  (Romans 10:13)
    …i
f you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10)
