Father God,
This Lenten season help me focus on all You have provided rather than what I am going without. Allow me to draw closer to You, O Lord, through the small sacrifice I am making in celebration of Your abundant sacrifice through Jesus, Son of God. It is through Him that we who once were far off have been brought near by His precious blood’s atoning. Through Him, old things have passed and new things have begun. He is our morning mercy; our gift of grace. Let the eyes of my heart focus on Jesus and all You have done for me through Him. In His name I pray by the power of the Spirt. Amen and amen.
