Sunday Prayer | 3.17.2019

Father God, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Your name. May our worship exalt You and be a delightful fragrance satisfying to Your ear. Let us lift our voices, raise our hands, humble our hearts, and shout Your praises as we sing songs to You, o God. You are mighty and powerful, yet you are near, through the Holy Spirit abiding in us.

Father God, we pray for all the hurting people in the world, especially those in New Zealand, who lost loved ones and are reeling in the aftermath of last week’s deadly attack. We pray also for the families who lost their loved ones in the terrible plane crash last week.

Father God, we pray for our nation, that we would be reconciled to You and that Your people would humble their hearts and bend their knees in repentance to You. Forgive us, Father, where we have sinned and fallen short of Your righteous ways.

Father God, thank You for Your unending mercy and grace.

All praise and glory be Yours, forever and ever, Amen.
