Micah 6:8 (ESV)
He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness
and to walk humbly with your God?
God delights in us when we reflect His character, not when we simply go through a faithless ritual. Our faith affects every aspect of our daily life. What we believe about God should permeate our words, actions, and attitudes. The Lord is more interested in the attitude of our heart than the size of our sacrifice.
All life matters to God. He doesn’t distinguish between secular and sacred. In God’s eyes, all life is sacred. We should seek to honor God through respecting the lives of others, born and unborn. The Lord’s love doesn’t come with any strings attached. He loves you and me unconditionally. We should strive to love others like God loves us. We don’t have any room to boast. We need the Lord. He showers us with His love, mercy, and grace because He chooses to do so, not because of anything we have done to merit His favor. In response, we don’t seek to exalt ourselves but rather, endeavor to serve others and glorify God.
What can people discern about what you believe through the words you speak, in how you treat others, and by how you conduct yourself?
Prayer:
Lord, we love you and are overwhelmed by Your grace. Help us live our faith out in our daily lives. Let us honor You by respecting all life, loving others like You love us, and spare no effort in serving others and bringing You praise and glory through how we live and engage with the World around us.

Devotional Guy, thanks for sharing the Word. I prayed with your prayer, and it added to my faith walk today. May God continue to bless your day.
