God, thank you for the gift our moms are. Thank you for the opportunity to celebrate these special women today. Be with those who are separated from their moms, especially those whose mothers are no longer present here with them on Earth. For those experiencing difficulties with their moms, I ask You to bring healing and reconciliation. Give our moms good health, perseverance, strength, and above all shower them with love like only You can. Let us show our moms that they are loved and a precious presence in our lives. Amen.
I hope you are able to spend time with your mom today. If not, be sure to give her a call and let her know she’s loved. If things are difficult between you and your mom, let today be the day you take the first step to change that by God’s grace and forgiveness. If you’ve lost your mom, I lift you up in prayer. May God encourage you with His comfort and may you find joy in remembering the fine times you spent together with her. None of us would be where we are today without our mommas.
