Sunday Prayer | Have I Not Commanded You?

I’ve prayed the words of Joshua 1:9 a lot this week. Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened. Do not be dismayed.

You and I are in a spiritual war, whether we realize it or not.

Discouragement, discontentment, and divisiveness abound. People are hurting, carrying burdens they shouldn’t need to carry, yet that’s the situation or circumstance they are dealing with everyday.

Prayer:

Father God, praise Your name! Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Please grant us the ability and confidence to persevere and endure the tests and trials we face at home, at work, or wherever we may find ourselves at the moment, so that we can testify to Your goodness and give You all honor, glory, and praise for guiding us through the storms and snares that accompany life in this world. Allow us to keep our hearts with all vigilance for we know from our hearts flow the springs of life. Heal our hearts and our hurts. You are good. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise worthy of Your mighty name. In Jesus’ name, by the power of Your Spirit! Amen.

As always, thanks for reading.

Blessings,
