Sunday Prayer | Seeing God at Work

As we gather today and you reflect back on the past week, how did you see God at work in your life? Sometimes it may be hard to see God amidst the busyness and the traffic overwhelming our lives. But He’s there. Trust me. Better yet, trust HIM.

“God is at work all around us.” – Henry Blackaby

This week, I’ve seen the Lord at work in the lives of people. It’s been encouraging and refreshing. At times, it’s been difficult and even troubling because I’ve witnessed people struggling in their troubles. To see God at work, you have to be willing to go where God is working. Fortunately, I’m blessed to actively be ministering where the rubber meets the road in the lives of the scattered church.

My prayer for you today is to see the God of this universe actively working in and around you. He is at work. He is working. God is good. He is great. He is compassionate and gracious. He is loving, faithful, and slow to anger (Exodus 34). May the Lord shine His face on you during your journey. May He guide you and direct you. May you seek His wisdom and recognize His truth. May you worship Him fully for who He is, the God of everything and everywhere. May you be blessed in your endeavors as you go out into the world. Even though you find yourself in the world, may you refrain from being of this world. May you be the salt and the light you have been called to be. May your mind be transformed and renewed. May your heart be filled with grace and mercy. May you be forgiving just as you seek forgiveness. May you love well and be loved even better. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To experience life the way God intended, you and I must receive God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. This gift from God is available to all who ask. Will you personally receive the gift of eternal life so that you can experience the total forgiveness from your sins that come through believing in the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

As always, thank you for reading.

Blessings,
