This morning, as I sip my coffee, I am super grateful to share that my blog, The Devotional Guy™, has recently been selected as one of the Top 60 Devotional Blogs on the World Wide Web by the panelists at Feedspot.
It is the most comprehensive list of Top 60 Devotional Blogs on the internet and I’m honored to be part of this collaborative community of bloggers featuring the likes of Max Lucado, Kerry Shook, John Piper and many more great contemporary Christian voices including Alan Kearns and Pure 247 Radio’s Andy B and the Berry Bunch. Out of nearly 650 blogs in the devotional niche, The Devotional Guy™ ranks 25th. Mind-blowing. That’s due in large to you, dear reader. Kudos.
My encouragement to you is to check out Feedspot, a web-based global hub for media outlets and content creators making them easy to discover, follow, and contact. You’ll discover loads of content all in one place.

As I mentioned in yesterday’s blogpost, I am incredibly grateful for all of you who engaged with my recent posts The BIG Reset and I was wondering…—your thoughtful perspectives truly resonated with me. I love the sense of community our conversations are fostering.
Recently, I scrolled through a list of posts that people who stop by my blog are engaging with throughout the week. Admittedly, I was surprised to see which posts populated the list.
God is Good All the Time. No Matter What.

Why is this important?
It helps me identify what is on your mind. What are people who follow my blog concerned about? What are my readers contemplating, wrestling with, and struggling to understand in our 2025 World?
Christian Blogging in 2025
The 2025 World is far different than it was even just a few years ago when Planet Earth was embroiled and mired in the COVID-19 Pandemic. Think about how different things are in our world compared to two years ago when the pandemic officially ended on May 11, 2023, (granted some folks question if it actually occurred). Do you remember 9-11, the day we vowed we’d never forget? Times are radically changing at a breathtaking pace.
Do you ever wonder what’s on people’s hearts and minds these days?
Obviously, President Trump rushes to the front of the line as he moves at breakneck speed—whether you agree with him or not. He dominates daily news and social media feeds. Rightly so.
What are other things people are concerned about? When I scroll through the list of the posts people are reading, it gives me a clue as to what’s on people’s minds—at least the 700 or so that read my blog every week.
Scrolling through my WordPress data, I see people who are uncertain about the future, who are concerned about their jobs, and interested in exploring their connection with God, primarily through a deeper prayer life and a stronger relationship with Jesus.
As I think and pray what to write about, it will be helpful to keep these things in mind. We live in a digital world, my friend, and we are pilgrims traveling uncharted territory.
What are some posts your readers are interested in?
I look forward to hearing from you in the COMMENTS. Be encouraged. What you’re doing matters. It makes a difference.
In the meantime…
Be salty, stay lit.
