Based on Saturday night’s post, I couldn’t help but wonder if emotions were colors, what shade would I be?
I think if I were painting from the palette of this week’s experience, I might land on indigo as my shade of color.
According to the experts at figma.com, “Indigo is a rich, dark, cool color that falls between blue and violet on the color wheel. It’s one of the oldest blue pigments and has been used for over 4,000 years in Asia and Egypt.”
I find Indigo is a deep, soulful color—one known to hold quite a bit of complexity. It carries sorrow and disappointment, blended with a dose of wisdom and poise. I think there’s a certain stillness in it, like the moment just after dusk when the light has faded, but before the night hasn’t fully taken over. To me it’s a color that feels introspective, thoughtful, and resilient.
What shade of color might you be?

Thanks for reading, my friend. Until my next post…

Bright colors certainly jazz things up a good bit, Richard. Traditionally, I don’t think we men were encouraged to wear bright colors (for whatever reason). But I love how they can add splash to the traditional darks we wear.
Thanks for reading and sharing your insights. Shalom.

While I have a preference for dark colors in my wardrobe, I wake each morning now with an interest in nature’s bright colors.

That’s so interesting because a friend prayed for me on Sunday and he saw the colour yellow and yellow flowers when he was praying. My favourite flowers are yellow roses or lilies.
