I’ve been thinking a lot about alignment and identity. Reviewing my artwork and the mental health journey I’ve been on these past 15-18 months, alignment and identity are two words that continually come to mind.
Around December 2024 to early January 2025, I lost myself. I’ve slowly been working my way back to who I am ever since.
Alignment hinges on actions reflecting our internal values instead of external pressures for the sake of appearances.
Identity revolves around who we are and finding the true balance between how we perceive ourselves and how we express that perception outwardly.
As I’ve thought about these things, I decided to revisit a psalm I wrote a good while ago. Here it is:
