When God Feels Silent

There are moments when heaven feels quiet. We pray, but the answer does not come. We search Scripture, but the breakthrough does not arrive. We wonder if God sees us, hears us, or if we have somehow missed what He is doing.

Silence doesn’t equal absence.

Throughout Scripture, God often worked in the quiet places. Joseph spent years waiting in prison. David spent years hiding in the wilderness.

Even Jesus spent thirty years before beginning His public ministry.

The waiting was not wasted. God was preparing something deeper. We often want God to change our circumstances. But sometimes God is using those circumstances to change us. Faith grows when we trust God’s character more than our circumstances.

If God feels silent today, remember the same God who seems quiet is still working. The God who feels distant is still near. He is still faithful.

Sometimes the greatest work of God happens when we cannot see it.

Until my next post

Be salty, stay lit.
