If God Sent You a Text

Friend, if God sent you a text today, what do you think it would say?

Perhaps, it might say something like this:

My child, I haven’t forgotten you.

I know the road has been difficult, and I have seen every tear. Nothing you’ve endured has escaped My notice.

Don’t be afraid of tomorrow. I am already there.

Keep trusting Me when you can’t see the whole picture. I’m doing more than you know.

Love the people I’ve placed in your path. Forgive freely. Walk humbly. Stay faithful in the small things.

You don’t have to prove your worth to Me. You are loved because you are Mine.

When you’re weak, come to Me. When you’re joyful, thank Me. When you’re confused, ask Me. When you fail, return to Me.

I am not in a hurry with your life. I’m forming Christ in you.

Remember who you are. Remember whose you are.

I’ll never leave you. Keep walking.

❤️ God

Thankfully, this isn’t just wishful thinking. While I don’t believe God typically communicates via text message, He has spoken through His Word, through His Son, and by His Spirit. The invitation has always been the same: “Come to Me.”

Friend, the question isn’t whether God has something to say.

It’s whether we’ll be still enough to hear what He’s been saying all along.

Until my next post…

Be salty, stay lit.

I think if God were to send me a message right now, it would be:

“Do not worry. Lean on Me. There’s nothing you’re going through that I haven’t already given you the grace and strength to endure. Trust Me, I will carry you through.”

That thought reminds me of Isaiah 41:10, Philippians 4:6–7, and 1 Corinthians 10:13.

  9. I like your sample text from God! “Come to me” is a great summary. You got me to thinking, brother. What if God had a personalized license plate—for his Dodge truck, of course.

Hi! I’m just writing something about this “daily text” of Jesus to us, “come to me”!

Thank you for giving me the push needed to finish it. God bless you always, Brother.
