Wednesday Wisdom | We’re Better Together

One person can do a lot. But a team can do what one person never could.

Scripture reminds us that “we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:5)

Being part of a team means more than doing your job. It means showing up for one another, communicating, encouraging, listening, and sometimes putting the mission ahead of our own preferences. It’s people over process.

Unity doesn’t mean we always agree.

It means we remember why we’re here.

When we work together with humility and a shared purpose, something bigger than any one of us can happen.

That’s true at work.

It’s true at church.

And it’s true wherever God has placed us.

Don’t just be a team member. Be a team builder.

Until my next post…

Be salty, stay lit.

Excellent and important point Rainer. This is exactly why the Lord sent the disciples to wait in the upper room, and why the church grew in the early days…because they were together in Him, a divine team/fellowship. God bless you and Terri today 🙏

  4. Rainer, ‘Don’t just be a team member. Be a team builder.’ Yes. That shift, from just showing up to actively lifting others that’s where the real work happens. Thank you for this reminder that unity isn’t about agreement. It’s about remembering why we’re here together. 💙

    Much love,
    Khadija 💕🤗
