I’ve been thinking about writing a book. If I wrote a book, would you read it? What would you like me to write about? Would you pay to read it?
I’m curious.
Let me know in the comments…

Until my next post…

Thanks, Nicola. I’m glad to hear that. At this stage and in this season, I believe I would write something helpful, although I dabble with the thought of writing something simply for entertainment. But, God is probably not calling me to write something like that, at the moment.
You, just like Rosie, provide an intriguing insight into how the modern reader reads and accesses books, which once upon a time not too long ago, in a galaxy we know all too well, involved purchasing a hardcover book in a store that sold books. Times certainly have changed and common activities, like reading, have been transformed by technology. All of this is such rich food for thought.
Thanks for taking time to read and engage with my post. I am grateful for your support and your insights. Blessings.

Hi Rainer I would definitely read your book. It would be a great read I’m sure and very beneficial to the reader. It would depend on buying and how easy it would be. I like a book I can download for ease but some prefer hard copy.

Yes online through the library and they have books available through Hoopla, and Libby. Covid brought the end of physically going to the library.
Blessings to you too!

Do you check books out at the Library? I’m grateful that you would read a book if I wrote it. Blessings!

Yes, I would read it!
The second question on paying for it is harder, not because I wouldn’t like to. It has been years since I paid to read a book. I think it was a book to read as part of the Christian community at work that I knew I was going to pass on. Which is why I wonder how anyone makes money from writing with all the different ways to read!
My guess is people buy it more from wanting to encourage and support.
A good question indeed to ask!

Thank you for your encouragement, David, and the writing ideas. I do love people and their God stories.

I would definitely read a book you wrote and gladly buy it!
What I like reading about is how God changes people’s lives by using other imperfect people to help them. You are a people person, so write a book about the folks you’ve seen changed by the power of God.
On a secular subject. A sci-fi novella that points to the true creator of the universe would make a great read.
One more idea: write a book sharing your original art and tell the story of how each piece came to be.
What do you want to write, brother? I’ll read it!
