Instead of being motivated by selfish ambition or vanity, each of you should, in humility, be moved to treat one another as more important than yourself.
Philippians 2:3
Easier said than done, no doubt. I do have to wonder how applying this verse would impact how people do business with one another. The web has made it easy to be a critic and simplified our ability to be mean to one another, spewing hatefulness and discord. Not that we shouldn’t disagree with one another. Not that we shouldn’t celebrate our differences. But at our core, most of us are more alike than we are different. None of us are perfect. No one is always right. All of us want to be loved. I believe you can do that without compromising your values, principles and beliefs. Keep on keeping on.
