Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Hebrews 1:1-4
Faith. What do you believe?
When you look around you see the world is in a great big pickle caught between blurred lines of right and wrong, love and hate, good and evil. Unlike the old Westerns many of us grew up on, it’s hard to tell who the good guys are these days. It’s difficult to know who to put your trust in. It’s challenging trying to figure out who you can believe and who you shouldn’t believe. Everything we once knew as good and as trustworthy seems to be letting us down. If you put your faith in this world, than that’s to be expected.
You see, this world is filled with flawed people who make mistakes, who disappoint, and who alarm you. It’s also a world in a battle, trying to keep from being overrun by terror and evil.
At the end of the day, there really is only one direction you can turn to. Will you give your life to Christ today? You can hear him knocking. Go ahead. Let him in.
