Jude, the brother of Jesus, concludes his short epistle with a formal doxology. It includes a prayer for his readers. Jude desired to assure them of God’s ability to help them remain faithful despite the apostasy that threatened them.
Jude 24-25(ESV)
24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
We can praise God because He is able to help us no matter what circumstances we face. We can count on Him to strengthen us amidst the adversity and difficulties life brings to our front door. We can be confident in God’s ability to keep us safe and faithful. Our God is able.
Blessings,
