God, thank You for keeping us out of harm’s way this week. Heal our nation, Lord. There is so much confusion, division, and deception all around us. Help us become a praying nation again. May we turn our eyes and hearts to You during this difficult season. Amid the chaotic rhetoric, there are many good things happening every day. Help us see the good and not just focus on the bad. Evil has sought to discourage us and throw us into the throes of despair since the most ancient of days. As believers, we know this will remain so until the day Christ returns. Yet, in Your word You remind us not to be discouraged; You tell us not to be dismayed; for You, our God, are with us. May we continue to worship You, Almighty God, in Spirit and Truth. To You be all Honor, Praise, and Glory.
