As the sun goes down on another day, hear our prayers, O Lord.
Father God, I am thankful for so much today. Because of You, my cup overflows and I am overjoyed at what I see You doing in and thru me. Thank You, God, for my loved ones. My family. My friends. My brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank You for the ministry You have called and gifted me to carry out.
I thank You, O Lord, for the ministry partners You have provided as we share the love of Jesus in all the various places You have us go. I thank You for the worship team I serve with and the privilege of playing music for Your glory and praise.
I am grateful for my wife and our fur-legged family. You did not bless us with kids but we’re happy to look after these creatures you gave us to care for. They provide us with smiles, laughs, and serenity when anxiety creeps in.
I pray for our neighbor who was robbed today. I pray that You would give her peace of mind and ease her distress caused by being violated.
I pray for the men we met and prayed with down at the homeless shelter this past week. Please encourage them and draw them nearer to You as they struggle with health, addiction, and being able to provide for themselves. Comfort them, keep them safe, and give them peace.
I pray for our nation and our world. I pray that people would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. I pray that those who know Him would seek to know Him more deeply and love Him more passionately than they already do today. May we all continue to grow spiritually in our knowledge of You, God Almighty.
Father God, I lift up these prayer requests to You tonight. I hope that You can hear my heart sing Your praises. I love You God. Thank You for loving me.
In Jesus’ name.
Blessings,
