A Morning Prayer

Father God, thank You for a good night’s rest and for waking me up this morning. Lord, may my thoughts, words, and actions honor You and may I bring You praise and glory today. Give me the eyes to see others as You see them, not as I judge them to be. Help me listen, hearing the hurts, habits, and hangups of those I meet. Guide my steps, direct my path, my sweet Lord. Help me love others as You have loved me. Grant me this day my daily bread. Forgive me for where I fall short as I hope to forgive others who might offend me, knowingly or unknowingly. Deliver me from evil. Let me look to You, O God, for all I need. In Jesus’ name.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
