I don’t know about you, but I experience God showing up in my life every day. The Lord primarily does this through other people. For example, at work the Lord has recently connected me with a small handful of people needing someone to listen to them and speak truth in their life. This is something I am extremely grateful for because it strengthens the confidence I have in my faith.
Another example of this is being able to have some serious life conversations with my nephew, Brandon. God has graciously provided us a recent opportunity to talk about life, marriage, and family on an in- depth level.
In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.
Ephesians 3:12
In a recent post, I mentioned taking part in the Gratitude Challenge 2022 hosted by fellow Christian blogger Bridget A Thomas.
If you want to end 2022 on a positive note, then perhaps you will consider finding several things you are grateful for each day, through December 31. You can either write them down, or simply say a prayer of thanks. Gratitude helps us to keep the love of God and His Word abiding in our hearts.
Gratitude Challenge for 2022, Bridget A. Thomas
I encourage you to join me in posting about things you are grateful at least once a week through December 31, 2022.
Another thing I am grateful for is the upcoming opportunity to teach a Bible study. My friend and co-worker—The Bishop—invited me to lead a study of God’s Word at his church—The City of Hope— in South Oak Cliff. Starting in November, I will begin teaching a study entitled “Good Morning, God.” It will focus on growing our intimacy with the Lord. I am very grateful for the opportunity to share my love for Jesus with those who want to learn more about Him and desire to connect with Him more deeply.

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1
The third thing I am grateful for is the opportunity to grow in my creativity. God is providing me this opportunity through several different means including at work where I have been invited by our Communications Manager to capture key moments at our ministry using a digital camera. Being able to tap into my creative energy helps reinvigorate me to continue in my full-time role as a problem solver. Over the last few months, I’ve come to recognize the vital role creativity plays in my mental health.
What are you grateful for in your life? I encourage you to write a post about gratitude.
I pray all is well with you and those you love. May God show you His love in an exceptional way this week.
In celebration of my 1,000th post I want to encourage you by inviting you to write a GUEST POST for my blog. Please send me your post and I will gladly publish it.
I hope you are enjoying these #Blogtober posts.
Happy #Blogtober! Keep on blogging!

The opportunity to express ourselves in creative ways is such an important element of life, we let slip far too easily.

I’ll put my three in the comments, Rainer—a miniature post within a post.
I’m grateful for my kind and godly wife. We are a lot alike but different in key ways. This means we make a great team.
I’m grateful that we have enough during these inflationary times. At this point in my life, I am even able to share with others.
I am grateful to have goals ahead of me, even though I am a middle-aged guy. My cup is definitely half full, rather than half empty.
