You wake up some days and you don’t feel like writing. Tuesday was that day for me. Maybe it was the ragweed or whatever jacking with my head, but I didn’t feel very creative Tuesday. It’s almost time for bed and I am typing out the words for Wednesday’s post. What do you do when you’re a writer and you lack the inspiration or motivation to write? You sit down and write.
“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called ‘Today,’ so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”
Hebrews 3:13 (NIV)
As believers professing Christ, we strive to imitate Jesus and the Holy Spirit by encouraging others to the faith and in faithfulness.
We still have the opportunity today to share the Gospel and grow in our faith. No one chooses the time they come to know Jesus. When faced with the question, “ Who is Jesus?” you and I can either receive or reject Christ. If we continually reject God’s invitation, our hearts will harden spiritually and the time will pass for us to follow Jesus.
The continual practice of sin leads us off course. God made a way. We can choose to follow Him or we can reject His offer.
Reflection Questions:
How has trusting Jesus transformed your life?
What is different about your life in Christ today from back in the day?
Who can you encourage today?

Prayer:
God, we are immensely grateful for the gift of grace and mercy You made possible through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and sustain in us through the power of the Holy Spirit. May we live lives transformed by Your grace and mercy. In Jesus’ name, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
May the Lord shower You with His grace and mercy.
Blessings,

I can sympathise with you Rainer regarding having days where we struggle to write. I hold to the simple logic that Satan will do a jig of joy if I don’t write my post each day, that motivates me to write no matter how it hurts. We have people following us brother who depend on our devotional writing, I depend on you! No pressure intended bro, just encouragement in our beautiful Lord and Saviour. God bless you Rainer.

Thanks, Alan. I appreciate your empathy and encouragement. It’s hard, sometimes, as a blogger, to grasp that people are depending on or anticipating a post from us. Humbling for sure. I appreciate you reading and engaging with your thoughts and comments.
