Over the years, I’ve composed a few posts on the topic of blogging. I’ve done this, not as an expert, but because of my experience and the desire to share that experience with others as a means of encouragement and education.
As I mentioned in previous posts, my blogging journey began with the launching of my first blog in 2008. The now defunct Joshua’s Hope, served like a garage band for my blogging. I went into blogging “not knowing nothing”, as the saying goes.
I’ve been told that there are those who blog for a living—yes, they earn an actual living wage. Blogging. But, at least thus far, that’s not proven to be me. However, I’ve learned a thing or two in my blogging pursuits.
Here is a list featuring 7 posts on the topic of blogging composed by yours truly: me.

The Devotional Guy™
Hopefully, you’ll find a kernel of wisdom and truth in these posts about blogging that I’ve written over the years.
Blogging is as much about community as it is content. The content you create connects you with other people. And if we’ve learned anything over the past couple of years, it is that we need one another. It’s part of what makes us uniquely human.
Blog on!
The Devotional Guy™

I’ve tried to monetize my blog but I think God wants me to do it as labor of love instead of a job.
I enjoyed your blogging lessons today, by the way.

I kinda feel the same way. I’m not really keen on cluttering up my blog with advertisements. However, I have considered putting together a small book or even designing some merchandise and selling it as a means of generating revenue via my blog. I suppose I could teach some blogging courses (?). I appreciate your feedback.

And I have read all seven of your blogging tips posts! I’ve considered writing about some things I’ve learned about blogging these past four years. So, today, I did. Thanks for offering sound advice to newer bloggers, Rainer. Not everyone is kind enough to do so. Have a blessed, and restful weekend.
